I set a land mine with a hairpin trigger in my backyard to mimic a scene i had seen in the Netflix tv show Peaky Blinders using decommissioned land mines that my grandpa kept after the war and had given to me when I was younger. He was a bomb specialist with high honors and was allowed to keep some of his later defusals as they were major parts of a strategic effort to occupy leftover intelligence bases that could not be properly stationed because of their armies being pushed back, and they were heavily trapped with a few soldiers left as the last line of defense from the enemy while they tried to destroy info.

But I had no idea some of the mines were live and he came over when he heard about my plan, his heel hit the back of one and the blast zone tore through most of his lower leg immediately. Bits of shrapnel flew into his upper leg and pelvic area, slicing one of his balls among other things. He somehow managed to avoid hitting any major arteries leading to his heart from his leg but he caught a large piece of shrapnel to his gooch that caused most of the bleeding. I'd never seen someone bleed out of their ass so much so quickly before.

We called an ambulance and his parents; his parents got there first and were freaking out. We've known each other for years; I slept over there and ate dinner many nights in my younger years. Now our parents aren't talking and we were told we should find a lawyer. I don't know what to do right now.
