Wow this topic made me remember back to my childhood Saturday morning routines. My TV didnt have any of the fancy channels and only had the basic 17, 23, 29, 49. I always woke up at 7 am since thats when the morning cartoons start, then at 10 am i would make breakfast and watch until noon, after which i would play video games.

Sadly 4kids got dropped or something so now i sleep in instead of waking up early. Good memories.

I didn't have cable as a little kid so idk. Although we did when I was about 10, but that year I was living in BC and those shows started at like 5AM so I was like "Fuck that, imma sleep"

This is exactly how my Saturdays go, still.
Except with a nap between cartoons and video games.
And I watch what I want, not just whatever is on the network.
And I can smoke the entire time.

Being single is the best.
I'd argue that my Saturdays now are just a way better version of my childhood Saturdays.

I didn't do the saturday morning cartoon thing much as a kid. for me I caught the mario bros cartoon and/or power rangers after I got home from school of a day.
