But I don't see the issue of the wave of new minority characters or the race/sex/gender swapping of some characters. It's them correcting a past mistake

Like it's some people on here who don't like when the main character of the game doesn't look like them.

No. The largest demographic for most media is 18-40 or so white males. it makes sense that they're catered to to an extent. I'm fine with minority characters but there is no problem to be fixed and just slapping a black dude on something and calling it a day doesnt make me feel like creators really care to begin wirh.

I'd say i feel like there is a part of CE that just hates minorities.

I dislike black Nick Fury because I prefer the original. I think he's more badass. most people don't realize that it was more than just a skin swap. they actually are different people. the new Nick Fury everyone knows is just a guy who ranks high in SHIELD. but there is nothing super normal about him. original white Fury took a lesser dose of the stuff that Cap took and it slowed down his aging. he is actually around the same age as Cap. except instead of being froze he lived through all that time and just aged very very very slowly. he is a veteran of WW2. black Fury wasnt even alive when WW2 happened. that is why I like original Fury

and on the flip side I love Kamala Khan, a muslim girl that has stretchy powers. so it's not black and white. And I think it's like that for alot of fans. when we badmouth someone who just happens to not be white, before we can even say why we don't like them, someone screams at us. And when we praise non white characters, the SJW's conveniently ignore it or claim to not see us say that.

This is a problem with a section of gamers in general. Anything that features a minority character gets called an SJW game. Female characters that aren't created to be jerk-off bait get shit on as well as "SJW". Horizon Zero Dawn board was a cesspool before it came out

Superheros where overwhelming white in the past and society is now correcting that with an influx of race swaps and brand new characters.

Race swaps are lazy but they have such a huge and nearly instant impact I can see why the do it.

Well, I can understand race swaps from new stories, like ultimate Nick Fury.
They even went with him for the movie.
But I would be annoyed if they ignored the white version completely. If someone wants to put in 616 nick then let them.

Brand new characters are actually pretty good. It bothers me if say we magically have a female Dr doom in movies without exposing why it's a that way since doom is male like.
