 That's not a knock on the game... it was good. But the credit segment was just fantastic. The music, the constant trying to tempt you to give up, then when the music ramps up as other players who sacrificed their game saves join you... all in an effort to defeat the creators of the game for a more hopeful ending. I found it amusing that the final boss was the credits since due to how the game's story was structured, it was kind of a recurring antagonist impeding your progress.
Though I'm also left wondering... Were there many, if any, games, before Demon's Souls, that had these weird unorthodox connectivities between players? Where it's not directly normal multiplier, but they can still interact in some way. Because I don't think I ever saw a game have anything like that before Demon's Souls, so it was just kind of weirding me out the apparent impact Souls has had on gaming. --- I am snazzier, hot, hot rant. I couldn't connect to PSN, at first, and I remember thinking, "wow, this is lame."
