Pretty damn awesome.

I almost thought they weren't going to do One Winged Angel (It was last, and like the second encore song) - they weren't getting a standing ovation from me if that wasn't played.

It was two hours but still it flew by and had a few omissions I was hoping for (Suteki Da Ne, Eyes on Me, Melodies of Life) and they wasted time playing a song from III.

Funniest moment of the night was how NO ONE cheered for Final Fantasy XII.

We're gonna do Zanarkand from X... *CHEERS*
Up next is a new for us, the Oath from Final Fantasy VIII... *CHEERS*
How many 6 lovers do we have? *cheers* we're going to do Celes' theme... *CHEERS*
We got *insert random FFXII song* from XII... *silence*

Did you get a picture with Uematsu and Roth?

Uematsu didn't make it! And no picture with Roth, didn't cross my mind.

Nice! I went to the one in LA a few weeks ago. I loved it! I've been to a lot of video game concerts in the past year, but that one blew them away. It brought back amazing memories of when I went to Dear Friends as a kid, and rekindled my interest in Final Fantasy again.

From the looks of it the setlist at mine was the same as London's, looking at Girugamesh's post. Just a couple of notes:

- During the Bombing Mission song they said they showed new footage from the remake during it, but it was mixed in with the stuff from previous trailers so I couldn't really tell what was new.
- Roth played the violin for Somnus, which was really cool.
- Holy shit Maria and Draco was amazing! They had three opera singers and a narrator to do all the lines. It felt like watching an actual opera. The standing ovation for that lasted a good three minutes.
- One Winged Angel was done as a singalong. It was really funny.

According the program there were going to do Vamo Alla Flamenco and Dancing Mad, but I'm guessing they were replaced by some of the songs that weren't in the program. If they switched Dancing Mad for Maria and Draco I can't complain (although I'd rather have both...)

Did you cringe at OWA, too? Most overplayed video game song of all time.

I saw this last May! It's a lot of fun. I've seen Symphony of The Goddess twice too and it was also great.

Video Games Live is my real fav though. They have somuch variety. They haven't been to my city for a few years though and they are finally coming again next month, I'm sooooo excited!

There was definitely some new footage. I can't remember exactly which parts though.

And you got Maria and Draco??? That would be awesome, we just had Celes' theme and I was hoping it would lead into it.

And yeah, the crowd did the Sephiroth parts. Fun way to end the night.
