Although yeah, I could definitely see how the process itself would be abused - that's kind of what we as humans tend to do. Not sure how exactly that would work out, especially since just cloning a person doesn't mean you're gonna get an exact copy as far as I know, but I understand the concern. Iirc it's technically illegal to do, at least in America. But let's be real, even with drops in fertility in some places on Earth, still, we don't need any more people. In my lifetime there will likely come some point of reckoning about overpopulation, at least in certain places. --- I am basically am I.
