I don't use Android for anything other than a hub of icons, and I always miss my iPhone when I switch over.

I'm going to just go iPhone forever from now on.

I really miss having Apple Music too

Note 8 > any apple phone.

Yeah Android isn't for everyone.

I know a lot of iPhone users that switched to an Android OS phone and switched back to iPhone shortly after.

I just don't use it as well as I should. I seriously feel like I just bought an inferior iPhone.

It can take some getting used to. A lot of design differences rub people the wrong way at first. And I know a lot of people like having iMessage.

I just like my iPad so much, and it just feels wrong to use a Samsung phone.

i may just bite the bullet, pay the 300 dollars and upgrade to an iPhone 8 Plus or an iPhone X when my taxes come

It's not daunting, it's just not a system that I want to use. Personally for my phone use, a grid of icons works better on my home screen.

Android does some things better than iPhone, but it also does some things worse than iPhone too.

I'm surprised Spotify isn't the go-to media choice. I haven't really used Apple Music much, but I love Spotify.

I still buy CDs so Google's service works fine for storing and streaming/downloading my library, but yeah Spotify is amazing.

I have. Google Play Music is terrible compared to Apple Music IMO. The best thing about it is Youtube Red, but the actual music part of the app is something I do not use at all. It is hard to navigate, and does not have curated playlists like Apple Music. I'm probably going to keep it just for Youtube Red when I go back to my iPhone.

Switch back to iPhone but keep the Android as a media player.

What sucks is I also like Sirius XM Radio in my car, and I'm starting to get to the point where I have too many subscription services.

if I go back to AM, I may have to cancel Sirius XM.

People that go on and on about phones seriously need to go to another galaxy.

I also have a car with Android Auto/Car Play

so again I probably should cancel Sirius....

i've never enjoyed using samsung's version of android. as far as android goes motorola has been an acceptable experience for the gui, but both the vanilla nexus and pixel lines have been even better.

Ugh I seriously don't get the appeal of Sirius XM at all, unless you live out in the desert but in that case you might as well just go back to buying and ripping music.

I had the opposite experience last year. Everything is way too complicated on iPhone and takes too many swipes/taps from the most unreachable parts of the phone.

iPhones can't even play most of my music/podcasts bc they're downloaded from youtube/web pages. This was a deal breaker.

I despise ios. I tried before, just don't like it. A lot of what Iike to do on my android requires jailnreaking an iPhone.

You changed OS's. People don't like change. There's obviously going to be a learning curve and adaptation period before you fully click with it. The same would be true if a lifelong Android user switched to iOS.

That is very true.

Update: I bought an iPhone 8 Plus this morning, and it's so much better for me. Apple just does what I want. I'm probably going to get a new iPad to go along with it, but I cannot tell you how satisfying it is to have iOS 11 in front of me when I'm using my phone now.

I just went from a LG to a Galaxy, and I really don't like how the screen isn't as accurate. I often misclick things now.... Should have stuck with LG, oh well.
