Picked it up for $20 on the psn sale. Yeah it's repetitive but the gunplay is so much fun and the random hijinks that can happen are funny.

Found the topic I posted on the board about it, cuz some guy accused me of lying for no reason.

There is no real plot. There is but may as well not be. The entire point of the game is random fucking around.

From what I've heard, you can beat the actual story in under 4 hours if you want.

Yes, and no. I'm playing solo. The ai works. They'll revive you.

It's cool driving around with your friends doing stupid stuff. Missions are pretty easy.

Sniping in this game is so much fun and is so far the best way to approach things. Snipe as many as I can first, then move in to mop up the rest.

I'm using the ms40 or whatever it is. The one that looks like an elongated Assault rifle with a ten round mag that has the description saying "hits distant targets with extreme precision" or whatever.

Normally my aim is ass too but it's solid in this.
I shoot to where a target is going to be if they're moving, and bullets arc so I aim a tad higher if they're further away.

I'm not even going to lie. I actually love this game. It actually does the far cry/Ubisoft formula well. It doesn't feel repetitive to me because I love approaching each area tactically. The weapons are a blast and have weight to them, the sniping is a joy. I'm doing absolutely everything on the map and having a blast. I love that you can switch out weapons and attachments on the fly, even in combat, without having to go to an ammo box. Being able to take put a helicopter with an anti material sniper rifle is awesome.

The game really captures the feel of tactical special forces action with enough unrealistic aspects to still be fun. I love taking out convoys with the machine guns on a helicopter lol. The weapons all feel so so good.
