As funny as these glitches are, it is important at this juncture to point out that the far left anti-Trump crowd desperately want this game to fail. Because the main developer apparently supports the president, this makes him a villain, and they will do everything in their power to kill as many sales as possible.

As gamers we all know that big open world games like this are prone to a lot of bugs, but you'll see a renewed focus in lampooning those in this game because of the end intentions of the users.

Take a game like Mount and Blade, by todays standards it looks like garbage

Its still the best single player experience Ive had in a video game so far

yeah but mount and blade had an interesting gameplay concept

this looks like a janky oblivion rip off from devs no one has heard of

the interesting gameplay concept for me in the case of kingdom come is the combat

also M&B was taleworld's first game as well

with all this said if the game does not meet my expectations I will refund it.

Well I caved and bought it. Technically, my wife bought it for my birthday, so we'll see how this goes. The main complaints seem to be the difficulty and the bugs, both things I can look past if the game is fun. For me, though, I hope there is some customization and not an obnoxious amount of cutscenes (especially if they are poorly written).

This game is basically an indie TES: Oblivion game.

personally I'm enjoying it so far, it's like if skyrim didn't have magic and was an actual RPG.

I'm a few hours in and the game is a mixed bag. Maybe the patch that I was waiting to download will sort out some of the problems, but there is some seriously annoying bugs. For example, someone recruited me to steal a ring for him. He was supposed to teach me to pick locks, but immediately after he teleported me to the test chest, he ran off screaming to report me to the authorities. I had to talk my way out of it as the bailiff ran around yelling at me.

Beyond the glitches, however, the game has some really good ideas. The combat is decently fun, though a bit clunky. The way the story's branch is good too. Every mission seems to have a few ways out. It's a double edge sword, however, since everything has to end up the same and that means that no matter what you choose, you end up in the same spot. I feel like the game tries really hard to be deep and story-driven, but it sort of trips over itself sometimes too.

I really hope the story/writing gets better, however. Everything was ridiculously contrived for a game that sells itself on its 'realism'. I'm totally drawn out of the experience when people drop cluster F-bombs at me for bumping into them or when a bunch of soldiers happens to sneak out of a besieged fortress because of rain. The characters are also pretty poorly written. I'm really hoping that there turns out to be more to some of the main characters because a lot of them seem like stock fairy tale characters.

All in all, a mixed bag that can be about as frustrating as it is fun.

I love this game so far and dan vavra has some views that I disagree but all and all i think dan is a really cool guy and he actually love videogames.

Plus like 90% of the SJWs accusation are just bandwagon. He is just a bit traditional and love his country's culture and i dont believe he is racist at all. The SJWs just accuse him because idiotic "muh representation!"

Even if he turned out to be a nazi or something, it wont affect my respect and love for kingdom come deliverance because real, deep RPG like that are rare, and a good RPG will always have my support even if ISIS member made it to fund their terrorism.

They're definitely working hard at it.

This. I am actually in contact with one of the community manager. At least he said a long term support is planned. They basically create a team of 10 people to visit forums/stream/let's play and take in feedback.

Hell, one of my suggestion (save & quit feature) is being considered right now.

They are also working for an expansion (free fo backer, and unknown price for non backer) with a new character (i suspect theresa from the tutorial) and additional cut feature from the kickstarter campagin will be added.

Patch 1.03 is being certified atm. Will roll out in few days.

If tey fixed and polish the bugs and performance, it will be amazing.

Oh yeah the game has sold 400k copies on steam alone (think they include kickstarter backer). Console sales report and gog which launch 27th iirc will follow later.

The budget is closer to 15 million, not 5 million rumor from the media.

They need around 300k copies to break even so they basically have turned a profit.

The "warhorse studio is racist" movement definitely doesnt affect anything and these fucking whiners arent even customers, thry just watch video and assume shit and slinh turd like monkeys

Hes not wrong about the controversy, though. I wouldnt have known about the game except for the complaints about it not having minorities. It reminds me of how some people are saying racists are trying to discredit Black Panther. Both situations could be true is what Im saying.

1.03 is out now on consoles, but that's because 1.01 was rhe day one patch not on pc. So pc 1.02 is console 1.03.

But yeah, they're definitely on it.

PS4 board is saying game has sold 500k combined already, with 250k on steam. So if you're saying 400k on steam, then that means it's gone up.

I love the game so far, maybe 15 or so hours in. Very fun. Some glitches, but so far just normal ones like other open world games like it, nothing major that even made me restart the game or reload.

Only issue is I need more RAM. Have to shut everything else down to keep it from pushing to the max.
