I got a second one because I had to surrender my passport the first time I went to Angola so they could process my Visa. Got a second one to make sure I could get home if there was an emergency or they didn't get my Visa done in time. That washed passport is way too fucked up to try and use. It washed my stamps out partially yet there's still writing and dates marked on pages. It's just in my documents drawer with other stuff as a funny memento Oh yeah the pages turned pink from the dye and the passport cover stained a shirt with a blue patch. Probably more difficult for men, though men changing surnames with marriage is becoming more common. I'd have to ask my friends that have done it... Said that because it wasn't on the first one, they wouldn't add it to the new one.
