Yeah I wish the game was completed man

I mean it had a lot of stuff but for a decade of work put into it and that rewrite back in what 2011 or so where they scrapped the original female lead? Making it from a side game into a full fledged main title came with a lot of expectations. And as a ps4 era release, there were just too many limitations on exploration and space in the game. And then to address some of the major things that happened off screen they made dlc episodes. But like. Even in previous entries they'd at least have tried to do a "meanwhile, elsewhere" or even a short candid scene like at the end of episode gladio, and then expanded on it in the dlc. But instead, zero reference to it whatsoever beyond the "oh, you're back. And got a new scar." "You should see the guy who did it to me, he got it worse." scene. Except that wasn't even the focus of the scene, it was pretty much in passing followed by the lady thanking you all for helping out.

To bad you can't listen to it on the regalia, but I guess it's just a special kind of song that would lose it's "meaning" if you listen to it over and over again lol.

I don't mind they made it a separate episode, but it is a pretty scummy business practice to leave out a pretty important story event as a paid dlc.

Yes, I was on the FF13 board for that. There were 2 camps, one is the weeb camp that hates anything American/dub and the other camp was that the song was originally made for FF13 exclusively. I'm pretty ignorant on the legal issues, but I think the Leona Lewis song was the cheaper route or something.
