it is pretty sad, actually, the state chapter of the AFP works right above us and we have been talking to them about their position. I think the new state director doesn't like them, but clearly the national office is forcing the issue

yeah but they have been okay in the past (at least this state chapter) on some issues related to 'welfare' and onerous government regulations

they testified on behalf of letting people who have been convicted of drug crimes be allowed access to SNAP (which we previously didnt allow)

and they fought a little against the drug testing we now have on SNAP/TANF in my state

it is always nice when they are on our side is all

I mean they were born into their money so it's no shocker they turned out to be the "how much does a banana cost? $10?" sort.
