No, the problem is that the combat is so mind numbingly straightforward you can just hack and slash your way to victory.

Kingdom Hearts has tight controls and fast gameplay so it's an anomaly

Meanwhile something like FFXV just has you holding down circle half the time and the magic and summons just give you a break from that

FF7 wasnt the hardest game by any means but if its getting the XV treatment we might as well hang it up now
