Maybe it is the same reason that someone else mentioned, but it really was the first RPG that I beat and holds a special attachment. I had FF 1 and Dragon Warrior 1 on NES, but never got very far in them. Do we consider Zelda 1 a RPG? If so, that was actually the first one I beat, but I can see that being more of an "adventure" or "action rpg" rather then a traditional RPG. Cecil, Kain, Rydia, Tellah, Edward the "Spoony Bard," and FuSoYa all have a special place in my heart. --- "One more thing. Should have put Breath of Fire 1 and Lufia 1 instead of The 7th Saga and Paladin's Quest. Anyway I vote for FF6. Chrono Trigger is a close second.
