A decent bourbon is okay mixed with soda but I can't drink it straight. I don't like drinking any hard liquor straight though. Too much burn on the back of my throat makes me feel like I've already vomited. If I were to pick a favorite hard liquor it would be gold tequila. Mixes so nicely with so many fruity and tropical flavors.
