Relative to most people, I'd say I have it pretty good. I'm sitting in a climate controlled room surrounded by technology and entertainment. Plenty of food in the fridge. I'm not terminally ill.

Eh, some stuff thats happened to me was out of my control, some stuff is just bad habits and being too lazy to fix them. I definitely had a better start in life than most people.

I am terminally ill but I feel like Im not a victim because at 28 most people with CF have super fucked up lungs while Im still holding onto like 80% of my lung capacity. I also have inner fighys with depression but I can break free and enjoy stuff a lot of others can't.

I feel I have things pretty good and that I've worked very hard for it, but equally I appreciate that I had lots of things in my favour that many aren't lucky to have (born able bodied, no illnesses, both my parents worked and could afford to support my education, have an outgoing personality etc)

I know. Since it obviously a genetics things I have and see my cousins with it that have it way worse. And it's sad for them but Im like damn Im kinda lucky. Then on the flip side I have a 32 year old sister who also has it and is in really good health with 2 kids. They told her having kids would be risky and her kids are perfectly fine.

yeah. this weekend was pretty unfair imo

me and my gf got into an argument that spoiled an otherwise good day. we made up but it was pretty bad.
next day my mom calls me to tell me about her ongoing health issues and how they're getting worse. that was bad.
then the next day my car overheats and is almost destroyed.

i drank half a bottle of vodka that night and now im here.
