Board 8 > Just fulfilled a 12 year board 8 dream

It was 2006, his freshman year in college. SephG was a lonely, scared boy who was searching for some kind of empathy to the alienation he felt in his first semester of college.

Board 8 told me that OK Computer was the greatest album ever. I remember listening to it on my cheap laptop in the laundry room because I couldn't afford the school issued ones. I was immediately hooked and listened to the whole thing all over again. Thom Yorke sang exactly the way I felt up at school. It was the greatest album ever made.

Kid A served as the soundtrack for my winter. In Rainbows became the first album I ever truly anticipated.

Tonight, I saw Radiohead perform songs from all three of these albums, and it made me realize how much this place has changed my life. This community has morphed me into who I am today.

Man I still put OK Computer on that pedestal even if I don't really obsess about the band like I used to.

I remember some topic about the board's favorite albums. It must have been the first of its kind.

I think the Mars Volta was #2 or #3 and I thought they sucked, so I moved on to this band I'd only heard about through South Park. OK Computer remains my favorite album ever and is one of the few things that can still transport me through time and place.

I'm seeing them in a couple of weeks. It's been interesting watching their setlist choices so far for these "multiple nights in the same city" shows because they aren't gonna play their hits every show. Night 1 in Chicago had Paranoid Android and Fake Plastic Trees but Night 2 had better songs overall. NYC is four nights.

The setlist for last night's show was "okay" (which still means it was one of the best ever). The crowd could have been more lively imo.

btw this board made me love iron maiden because hallowed be thy name won that multi-board best song contest (of ulti's i believe) and then ulti made me love tool which is still my favourite band.
