I just bought a new TV, and it doesn't switch inputs automatically like my old one

This one is a lot newer and better so not sure why not?

What do you mean by "switch inputs automatically?" Like, you can turn something on and it automatically flips to that input?

If so, that's pretty cool, mine doesn't do that but it's a built-in Roku so it only takes like 2-3 button presses to switch anyways

Nvm I got it. It's called HDMI-CEC and there's an option

No, not all TVs have HDMI CEC or whatever you call it.

Did you check the TV settings? The feature might be off by default or called something different.

Basically.

When I had a Roku stick hooked up to my TV. All I had to do was press any button on the Roku remote and it would automatically switch inputs. It was very nice.

Mine works the opposite, I switch to HDMI1, and my PS4 turns on automatically.

My cheaper Vizio does that while my vastly more expensive and newer Samsung doesn't.

My TV doesn't have universal settings for picture setting, I have to calibrate the picture for each input.
