Saw them at the store today. Don't know much about them besides the fact that they're story-based Telltale-esque games

Vampyr is pretty good, IMO; about a 7.5-8/10.

the gameplay is starts out pretty annoying, but gets better when you unlock more abilities and upgrade them and your weapons.

the story is alright, but talking to NPCs can get boring, and that's the biggest part of the game. if you want to get stronger, then you need to feed off of NPCs, and to get better blood quality (experience points), you have to talk to the NPC more and more, and sometimes do side-quests.

but you can also not feed on them, and still be okay. I think enemies scale based on how much you feed, but I could be wrong. and how much you feed (along with other factors) affects the ending that you get.

anyway, I liked it, but I could understand why someone else wouldn't.

Detroit is probably David Cage's best, and that's mostly due to Bryan Dechart's and Clancy Brown's incredible performances. It's still way too on-the-nose and in-your-face, and there are several aspects of the narrative that fall apart when you think on them for a few minutes.
