Debating D.Va is just aggravating me. I mean, she's not super liked by the community. I don't think they'll auto pick her just to troll, unlike with the LoL reddit. If there's another character they think is better, I'm sure they'll vote for them instead. And the other thing, even though r/overwatch has 1.5 million subs, the only thing you see there are play-of-the-games. Any other kind of post is practically non-existent, barring official balance changes. I just don't see a rally on that sub gaining any traction. In which case, I think she only barely beats Aloy.

Blizzard rallies have been failing to appear for a decade now. I'm not expecting one to crop up now for a character like D.Va. The Overwatch subreddit is not THAT active, and won't necessarily take to this. I have her out in round one. I agree with fearing Monika more, but even for her, the fanbase is not that active. I am a rally-sceptic this year.

Regardless of whether she gets a rally or not I can't see beating Squall and losing to Snake being something that makes sense. If it gets big enough to mash Squall Snake isn't stopping it.

Rallies seem to be very all or nothing these days. I would say that if she beats Squall she wins the contest. Hell, if she beats Jill/Fox, I'll call the contest in her favor.
