It is basically a crime drama with pretty gay boys.

It is well written, with deep themes, and lovable, 3 dimensional complex characters, great action scenes and totally heartbreaking scenario.

it is a story about a young gangster ash lynx, trying to uncover the mysterious substance called banana fish that left his brother crippled for life.

I've heard that it's going to get insanely depressing from here on out. Still an excellent show so far. I think I'll go read the manga, even though the art style is a bit weird to me.
