Always. It's probably not even overt racism. White women represent beauty and the ideal woman, put on a pedestal while black men represent a scourge and a field beast. It hurts on some level to see them together, this is why people who aren't racist or prejudiced in any other way hate it so much. Two societal representations that most don't think should ever mingle.

Barring any typical racist pathology and inclinations, the black man and the white woman's "place" in the American racial hierarchy makes it so unpalatable.

As for why the reverse is much less common, that's due to several reasons. Biggest ones are perceptions of black women leading to a massive negative preference from most men and the rest I cannot say without getting banned. Also to a smaller degree, black women are like most women (except Asians) who simply greatly prefer men of their same race group.

As for all the black CEmen being with white women, not sure. I got called a [rhymes with spoon] for having a white fiancee despite having fucked and dated a well rounded assortment of women, slightly more black than white and preferring white the least.

Of course it's a thing. Most of the insecurity from racist white guys comes from the fact that white women control their future and it's getting harder for them to control white women. A common scapegoat thrown around particularly for guys like me, a "successful black man". Not only myself, but my brothers nor any acquaintences have even had a conversation among ourselves about white women as long as I've been alive.

Women don't elevate men's status in society at all, the only thing a white woman can do as far as affecting perception is to get you in trouble or make you a target for racists and "pro-blacks". Most likely in certain circles the woman will be seen differently, in a bad way.
