Their thought process was were releasing a limited content game meant to be played almost exclusively in 2 player online mode with no storyline, character profiles, arcade mode or endings, just so we can cash on it in an upcoming game tournament, because fuck you, street fighter customers, that is what you get
This is not true
It was known from the jump that they were releasing the game early "in beta mode" because they wanted to get the game out early before the end of the Capcom Pro Tour & EVO. It was also known from the jump that they were planning to release the story mode ~2 months later at no additional cost
If you don't like that, fine, but stop misrepresenting the situation.

Ono? Is that you? Lmao
Sources. Now.
Nice how you're resorting to the "lol you must be a capcom defender" tactic, when all I'm doing is stating facts
Look at the date on that news article in comparison to when SF5 was released.
And just to correct myself before you try to harp on it, I was wrong about it being 2 months later, it was 4 to 5 months later. Still, as I stated it was always intended to be free, which is the main point I was contesting. ---

You know what? I dont really have a stake at this.
Ok, capcom is very generous. They have us the games story for free! How can they even afford it? I mean most companies charge you for the storyline!
I must watch a bunch of capcom tournament ads in cammys ass and guiles arms to thank Capcom for their selflessness :)
