Do what i did one year if it really bothers you get super drunk and blow up a huge firework at 4 am that way all the kids in your area wake up early and piss off their parents. Major league trolling it made me feel better. Not anymore now i actually enjoy the quiet just telling you what made me feel better one year.

If it makes you feel better, I work 7am to 5pm Christmas day, and my wife has to work 3 to 11, so we literally won't have any kind of Christmas together this year except maybe the last 20 minutes before midnight.

The year my parents moved into their first house, some guy got drunk off his ass and started wandering the streets screaming Christmas carols at the top of his lungs at like 3 am and there was a big scene with police taking him away for public intoxication.

Well i said it doesn't anymore but when i was really depressed it did in some perverse way. Depression gets really bad at christmas and some people barely hold on.
