People are saying ALL these characters should have came based on the game from the start instead of slowly releasing them, using real money to buy them(or use the in-game credit). This new generation is hilarious and are new to video games I see. Back in my days to play the most updated fighting game version with the new characters you would have to buy the next whole new game. Fighting games have a much more niche audience and thus don't have as big of a margin of error in terms of fan alienation. Marvel vs Capcom infinite is a pretty recent example of that. An EA/Activision/Epic etc. can afford to make more brazenly self interested business decisions because they know they have a large enough user base to sustain the hit.
