I would like a Portal Gun for the sole use of going to the Arctic, having a white wall built, then using it to create a portal in my bedroom for unlimited cold air.

Keyblade.

Never have to worry about having keys or even losing your keys because you can summon it at will. Could also lock anything at will. And I'm pretty sure locks with magical properties would be pretty hard to break into.
Plus you could turn it into a vehicle to travel with. Maybe even use some of it's magic for mundane things too.

For non-mundane use you could also use it to unlock anything, including people's souls/hearts, vaults, windows, house doors, etc... Would be pretty useful for a thief.

My daily commute to/from work is only about one hour in total but I wouldn't mind getting that back and saving gas at the same time by being able to use the portals to travel to/from work. Of course I'll probably setup the portals to be from outside my home to outside the office.

Aside from the Portal Gun, I'll take a Bag of Holding. I go camping and backpacking every now and then. Being able to take almost everything but the kitchen sink while still weighing only a few pounds would be convenient.

Aside from the Portal Gun, I'll take a Bag of Holding. I go camping and backpacking every now and then. Being able to take almost everything but the kitchen sink would be convenient.

The biggest issue for the Portal Gun is the need to setup both ends of the portal first. (Well that and, if we are following the game rules, needing the correct surface to open the portals.)

Bag of Holding would be nice, never have to pay to check a bag when you are travelling. I'd also need a lot less storage space in my house.

But then you'd have random people just walking through the portal at your work site coming to your house. Not to mention things like stray dogs and cats, and who knows what else. I can see someone just throwing their garbage through the portal.

Since I never actually answered the question, I'd like one of those tent things from Harry Potter that just looks like a small tent but when you walk inside is a decent sized house.

If the bags are outside, why does it matter? Bags of trash go inside the trash bins in the alley, anyway... Inside is a bad idea, because people could just go inside your house when you arent around.

Many jobs dont have places only one person can enter. Even places where people have their own office isnt safe. Normally, someone has a master key to all the rooms. And sometimes, they have a janitor who has keys. I think on all the jobs I worked, I never had a place only I could enter. I actually dont know many people, if any, that do...

If someone reaches to the sky and I start seeing light streak out from them and some kind of Captain Planet summoning or Voltron assembly shit going on and weird theme music starts playing...I'm not sticking around long enough to find out what's about to go down.
