Not as far as I know. I know there are theories that there still exists an unknown planet orbiting farther out from Pluto, but again no proof yet. Also, I'm not sure what this Planet SIMP's orbit is and if they expect it to enter our solar system at all, granted with it being as far as it is right now I sincerely doubt we have anything to worry about.

this strange, nomadic world has an incredibly powerful magnetic field that is some 4 million times stronger than Earths. Surprisingly, the exoplanet also seems to generate spectacular auroras that would put our own northern lights to shame.

Isn't that... not surprising? Since auroras are caused by solar winds passing through the magnetic field?

Thats what struck me though it doesnt appear to have an orbit.

Detecting SIMP J01365663+0933473 with the VLA through its auroral radio emission also means that we may have a new way of detecting exoplanets, including the elusive rogue ones not orbiting a parent star, said co-author Gregg Hallinan of Caltech.

This is actually very interesting. Maybe this will aid in finding the theorized missing Planet X in our own backyard?

Depending on how long they have know about it, it would take them some time to project the orbit of what ever it is actually orbiting.
