That was the point imo. She was obviously coached and had handlers, but she's perfect for delivering the agenda because you aren't allowed to criticize children. Also, plenty of people will rally behind the story of a young girl trying to change the world.

I don't really get the resistance. We could be doing things a hell of a lot cleaner than we are now, so why shouldn't we? It shouldn't matter how people feel about the science behind it.

It's like arguing why we bother to use garbages when we can just throw everything in the street. There are obviously better ways of doing things that willl improve the quality of the planet and the organic life that resides on it. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

I'm sorry but even if climate change were not a thing. EVEN IF it were a complete hoax made up with no real benefit to anyone...the younger people are the ones who will still be alive in 40-50 years. They are the ones whose children will be here in 80+ years amd into the next century, after people and the 'boomers' are long gone. They are the ones who will be royally fucked over if climate change is true. If the teens are expressing a concern about something we're doing that may affect them, then any adult with two fucking brain cells to rub together should be able to figure out that we need to LISTEN to what they're saying for a minute and then respond by either comforting them (by providing logical arguments against climate change and explaining why they've fallen for this "hoax"..not poorly thought out "its snowing" bs) OR by making changes to mitigate the issue.

In order for optimism to really work you need a reason for it. If a train is coming your way, you shouldn't just stand in the tracks and "believe" the train will stop before it hits you.
