What do you think

When someone talks about privilege you may possess (white, male, straight, thin, class), do you interpret it as an attack on you?

As a chubby white man I can get away with fucking anything. It's so fucking awesome. If that's not a privilege you're doing it wrong.

I'm sorry to hear that.

By "privileged", it means that despite all that, many people would still regard or treat you better than others because you share their skin color.

Yes, it's an attack and (reverse) bigotry. You're making all sorts of assumptions on the person based only on some irrelevant trait. Just imagine if it was the other way around. This whole privilege concept is one of the stupidest ideas to come out of modern society. And that's saying a lot.

Any instance of "privilege" is really one of two things. It's either discriminatory practice, in which case it shouldn't be tolerated, or it's a natural occurrence, in which case there's no reason to make any fuss about it.

Depends on context.
If used to say you cannot voice you're opinion or in an attempt to try to invalidate what you say, then yeah.

Yes it is. nemu and closetjpopfan summed it up quite well. It is also ridiculous how SJWs insist that if you disagree with their rhetoric you simply dont't understand it. Finest example of begging the question if I've ever seen one.

You need to hang around different people. Cause I never hear it in a negative way. Or your perception is wack and you just instantly twist whatever is said. Maybe you just don't have the privilege of an unwacked brain. I have a feeling you indulge in videos of crazy people in public and you see that as the norm. Cause that's the only possible way I can think for someone feeling like it's only used negatively.

This is why I stay away from binging videos of bad behavior.

u forget that... ...there are a lot of bigots. people who are partly bigots. people who are arguably bigots. being prejudiced by folk because of ur skin colour is something white people rarely have to endure. its not something u have its about something u don't have to deal with

Class privilege exists as does majority privilege, but this is not exclusive to white people or the US in general.

The concept of white privilege is inherently racist and nothing good is coming out of it for those pushing the narrative.

Are you implying that Whiteness wasn't intended to be an ethnic-based social class? Many people considered "White" today weren't even always considered White, and were treated differently as a result. Memories are short sometimes, lol.

This is true. Yet because they have white skin, you're likely to say they have "white privilege" despite not having been considered "white"
