Depends. If I'm eating a meal, I'll pair the beer to the meat, a good craft beer.

However, if I'm getting fucked up, I'll drink lagers or pilsner.

Nopes. Not because I don't want to disturb the sanctity of alcohol or whatever but 99% of the time I enjoy Hefes as they are. Might try it one of these days tho

That's odd that it's with beer, but not surprising. European Spaniards and South Americans do something similar except with red wine instead of beer, and it tastes delicious. It even has an official name: kalimotxo. It's kinda like an alcoholic Cherry Coke.
