I'd sure love the financial benefits.

But having all my freedom revoked again, plus being seen as a man-child by all otherwise potential romantic partners far outweighs the benefits.

There's been times where I wish I could move back in. Don't rush it people.

Cons: literally everything else imaginable

Ill take the slightly less money for a much better overall situation

I have some really awesome parents and they fed me and shit and charged me no rent while living with them. It still sucked cuz you cant really bring girls home to bang and they are really overprotective so getting wasted there wasnt much of a choice

When my engagement ended I moved back to WI from NJ and lived with my parents for a month. Not a fun time in your 30s

This. Im currently in a cycle of having electricity and it randomly going out due to the snow.

dont rush things. But be appreciative when they come too.

IMO size might matter.

My parents live in a small 2 bedroom 1 bathroom condo so having to live with them for a month was pretty awful.

If they had a full sized house with either a large basement or a 2nd floor and a 2nd bathroom, I might have been able to deal with it longer. I was lucky enough to find an apartment walking distance from my job within a month though, so I'm actually saving a lot on gas.

I moved back in at 27 for about 18 months after a failed relationship to reset my life and pay down my debt.

Couldn't argue the value of the money saved and it wasn't a bad life in general but you're under their house and so their rules.

Plus my hometown kind of sucks and is boring as hell.

But they have a hot tub which I used every day.

I love my parents to death but I wouldn't want to ever live with them again. I'd only live with them again when they can no longer actually take care of themselves, cuz I'm not tossing them in a fucking old folks home.

Well my mom's dead and I haven't seen my dead in over 18 years so I am gonna have to go with "nope".

This but also for me its been a good experience. I feel like I formed a better relationship with my dad than Id ever had before as I lived with him while he was on his deathbed for a ~year.
