Define bad. Because nothing has happened yet. The panic is the worst part.

To let his family profit.

Oscar Health is a Kushner company, guess what company helped out with American testing. Of course for a price.

All Drumpf had to do was listen to WHO to know how bad it would get. That's too much to expect from a guy who doesn't even listen to his own intelligence agencies though.

Why did he reject the kits from the WHO?

Thats an interesting question. Its important to remember that it wasnt a situation like the WHO had a big pallet of tests for the US and we said nah no thanks. The WHO doesnt give us tests. They give tests to countries that lack the capability to make their own tests.

They did offer the protocols for their test, basically the outline of what you need and how to make it. We opted to go with the test we were developing. Several other countries opted to make their own tests also. The US usually develops their own tests for things. We went our own way for Zika and a handful of other outbreaks also.

In theory, the US developed test was better in many ways. In practice however, there were dire issues. Now the problem we ran into was in the manufacturing of the US developed tests. Im not sure about what the specific issues were, but I may look into it later.

So to answer the question, they didnt reject any kits. They didnt use the test developed by the WHO because we typically never do. The WHO didnt even expect we would because we always develop our own. I hope I clarified things.

We didn't reject anything we just rejected the thing because we always do?

I saw the "public health briefing" this morning too. He just regurgitated what some guy on the podium said. It's CYA bullshit.

No it was flawless. They asked why we rejected testing kits. We did not reject any testing kits. We rejected the test. I wasnt trying to put in my personal feelings, but I think that was a mistake in retrospect. But the US typically doesnt use the testing procedures put out by the WHO.

Actually its been known for years that a coronavirus strain could do this. That's why we had the pandemic response team that Trump cut loose. Thanks Trump!
