It happened at Vons in Santee, a suburb of San Diego after the county mandated all residents wear face coverings to combat the spread of the virus though this shopper likely wore this hood to provoke shoppers Von employees spotted the man and approached him to demand he remove it or leave the store The old fart REFUSED to do and continued shopping but as he stood in line waiting to pay, a supervisor approached him once again and demanded he remove it or leave the store He eventually did and revealed his snout and then left the store and PUT IT BACK ON. Santee Mayor, John Minto has launched an investigation as they told dailymail that police are looking into it and whether to pursue appropriate crimial charges Vons told dailymail "At Vons, fostering an environmental of courtesy, dignity and respect is one of our highest priorities, and we work hard to hold everyone in our stores to these standards, including customers. This was a disturbing incident for our associates and custoemrs and we are reviewing with our team how to best handle such inappropriate situations in the future" Images of the man in the hood have circulated social media as his face was revealed as well who was a middle aged pig with long hair wrapped in a pony tail The county has a reputation of racism after it had unflattering nicknames such as "Klantee" and "Santucky" Despite California's image as a liberal haven there have historically been racist hotbeds in several parts of the state that have popped up.
