Man, new season is sneaking up. Thursday! Higurashi is up first even. Bunch of other shows I wanna check out in those first 2 days as well.

MHA manga rn is the best it's been since training camp arc imo. So many shows to catch up from this season too. No idea why I haven't been watching ReZero or Oregairu but just not gotten in the mood for them. Hope the latter's ending gets done as well as it deserves.

Quite a few unaccounted for considering the season starts tomorrow.

Finished Final Act a couple weeks ago. I don't like how fast the pacing was, but it was nice to experience the ending again. I am ready for Friday.

1/3 of the way through S2 of Is the Order a Rabbit. Not terribly funny, but it's so damn cute.

The Million Lives show is also lacking stream confirmation. I have been up and down on whether I am interested in that with every PV.

I always think back to how I thought ReZero looked like generic crap before it started airing, though, which is why I'm always willing to give these at least a little chance.

Haikyuu to the Top S2 - fuck yeah Haikyuu. Waiting for this to end so I can watch the whole season without breaks.

DanMachi S3 - I still need to watch this anime even though th3lefty would probably just say to read the LNs instead.

Jujutsu Kaisen - oh ya shounen shit sign me up.

Mahouka S2 - imagine literally wanting more of this

Higurashi 2020 - Kinda interested, but also wow how much can you squeeze out of Higurashi.

Tonikaku Kawaii - The description for this is kind of a mess, but it doesnt sound great anyways so who cares.

Noblesse - Never heard of it and the picture is a sausage fest

Kamisama ni Natta hi - Jun Maeda and PA Works. Hmm will either be decent or a disaster then I guess

Majo no Tabitabi - Witch girl goes on a journey. Might be cute.

Adachi to Shimamura - oh ya yuri series. I gotta catch up on a lot of those still.

Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen - Dude is sent to assassinate ice witch girl and instead they fall in love. Sounds like a real SLEEPER

Ikebukuro West Gate Park - woah an anime adaptation of a manga based on a live action series. Thats not too common. Stars an adult character too so hey might be neat.

Boruto: Inuyasha Edition - I mean thats basically it.

100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru - Get ready for a one-of-a-kind fantasy story that will challenge everything you thought you knew about fantasy! wow hope it can live up to that claim

Yuukoku no Moriarty - suppose it was only a matter of time before there were more Moriarty anime.

Golden Kamuy S3 - fuck yeah glad to see this coming back.

Iwa Kakeru! Sport Climbing Girls - Climbing chicks with muscles.

OK so that actually picked up a whole lot. The fighting animation in this show seems REAL good.

They went the route of trying to show a little bit of almost every character in the first 10 minutes, which I always hate, but once it focus down it got me more invested and I'm definitely interested in continuing. Would probabky say this seems like it might bit a bit RWBY by way of Yuki Yuna.

I don't know if I'd say hyping up, I'm interested because it's Kodaka and I'm a Danganronpa Stan.

You may be thinking of how the initial reveal was super panned because the actual in series art looked WAY worse than original reveal art, but the trailers that started coming out were super sharp.

It's apparently based on a toy line. With all the characters they showed and the weapon transformations, it makes sense.

Honestly, if I didn't already know Ryukishi was the guy behind Higurashi, I probably could've guessed it based just on the art style of the new anime.

I'm a bit warped since I've experienced these in such varying design forms (original Higurashi anime, PS3 Higurashi VN Sprites, PS3 Umineko VN Sprites, soon to be original Cinconia sprites of which I believe is all there is so far). As for the first episode, obviously it's not gonna cover all the SoL elements, just giving us the basic setups to establish these characters. I'm sure some people will complain, but I don't know if I could take the first 23 minute Higurashi episode being nothing but club games. Not everything that works in a VN is gonna work for an anime. I don't even remember the pacing of the old series with how long it's been.

Real wild that they appear to be using the same OP as the first anime, unless that was just a little tease to use during the episode 1 credits. If the new OP next week actually is just straight up an HD remake of the original I will be VERY PLEASED.

The editorial department explained that the manga is taking a break due to Oda's "sudden illness" and poor physical health. The department stated that Oda is currently recovering, and that the manga will return in the magazine's 46th issue, which will ship on October 17.

1 episode in, Burn the Witch looks feels, and sounds incredible. I realize it has movie origins, but still. It feels like I'm watching Bleach back in Highschool and all the excitement that came with that.

Real glad Kubo revealed he was going to continue releasing it in full volume format, so we can hopefully get more.

If the Japanese readers and viewers didn't accept it so much that they changed Bleach to a shit time slot because the ratings were so bad, I assure you I will do no such thing myself.

The ending of the manga was worse than any of the filler sadly
