She said her son, 9 y/o Bear who she shares with ex, Christopher Jarecki said cutting his long hair short was his decision despite Alicia writing a story of how kids at her son's school were making fun of her son for having long hair and looking like a girl.. But she cleared it up and wrote "Hi, i saw this story and feel compelled to say this is not what happened. Bear chose to cut his hair at this time for himself because he wanted a change not because he felt pressure from anyone else or was being teasted. I did share a story a few months ago about an isolated event that took place more than 2 years ago where he was being called a girl and i shared it because i was so proud that it didn't make him want to change how he looked because of how anyone else felt about it. I could definitely see how someone would mistake him for a girl as well. That being said, he shouldn't be made fun of for it, and it's really up to him and/or his parents what his hair looks like.
