I have thought about this too. It would be kinda funny if they had a normal seeming movie until the ending where the hero gets killed and then the villain sits on the throne and chuckles

Disney would never let that happen. Even their one-shot spin-off featuring Malificent ended up portraying her as a misunderstood bad guy.

Yea I am talking a typical kids cartoon except evil wins suddenly in the last 10 minutes

Like pictures if in Aladdin, Jafar managed to kill Aladdin in the final fight and then force marries Jasmine and cackles on the throne

Beauty and the Beast is honestly the closest thing I can think of. The Beast starts the movie as a legit terrible person that has been turned into a monster by a witch and then he has a redemption tale.
