Never, I used a taxi service once and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a vehicle.

I don't trust other's driving abilities enough to use these services.

Once. I've used Uber once only because I had to. I always forget about it, tbh. But under normal circumstances, I try not to use either of those. My cousin does drive for them, though. That being said, I do use taxis from time to time. Just for going to the airport, though...

Yes I've used Uber. It's just so easy to order a taxi on a app and pay for it without trying to flag one down. Although I admit if I'm drunk in town I just get in whatever taxi I find. I've never heard of Lyft.

I've used both services, and haven't had any issues. area depending I suspect, but at least for me Lyft is a bit cheaper. even once had a ride in a Tesla!!

I've used lyft a couple of times when my car was in the shop, and i've used taxis before lyft and uber were a thing.

Aye. The app and ability to pay via it makes it much more convenient compared to most taxi services. I still remembered a taxi ride where the dispatcher? told me the driver accepts credit card only for him to arrive and tells me he does not. Ended up paying maybe $5-7 in ATM fees for a $20ish ride.

A ton. My office has/had a stipend for using it as part of commuting, I think $200 a month? I would walk most days to work (about 50 min walk) but would use that if it were very rainy or really dark out (especially during the winter).

Besides work (wfh now anyway), yes would use it a fair amount of time if BART/buses weren't as useful. And I would use it in Austin too a fair amount.

Haven't since the pandemic.
