I would have to investigate the individual options before I'd seriously weigh a move. While Topeka stands out to me the most, I'm not familiar enough to rend judgment. Honestly, in the coming years I'm probably going to move regardless, since CT keeps electing far-left, anti-business idiot governors who are hell-bent on making CT worse than Alabama.

Lots of places become shitholes overrun by meth addicts when you get the fringies in charge.

I wouldn't move to any town that is so desperate they're bribing people to move there. It makes me question just how terrible those places must be.

Though if you put a gun to my head and forced me to move, I'd go to Ohio loooong before I'd ever consider moving to either Kansas or Iowa. Even if I can buy an underground bunker villain lair in Kansas for only $50k or so.

This is my thought. It probably wouldn't actually cost me 10k to move, but the mere moving expenses alone would put a very significant dent in the incentive, especially considering that I'd be moving to a different country. Toss in lost wages from the time such a move would take, and I'd probably still be in the hole. This is really only going to be a reasonable offer for somebody that was already considering a move to such a place, for whom this makes that move more feasible and may help them off the fence.

I feel like I would want a little more than $10,000. Not sure how much, though. Either way, it would depend on the bases in the area... Or how close they are to the area... I don't know if I'd watch to make the drive back to Texas once a month...
