Sometimes a boss can be hard, but you know you can do it if you try... but sometimes you can't figure out the trick or aren't properly geared or something and you just feel outdone

On the flip side, sometimes a boss is hella easy but they are impressively forboding or require a easy gimmick you don't have access to that is required.

Or whatever, y'know?

I was steamrolling everything in Yakuza Like A Dragon til I got to a boss I had to grind 5 levels for.

Path of Exile like 2 weeks ago.
I quit the game after I realized that I couldn't compete anymore.
The game made my physically ill for a week.

Valheim. The two bosses after the first have been annoying to take down at first. After gearing up properly though, the second boss was easy enough. We've had no reason to take on the third one again.

The boss in chapter 14, I think, I'd Like A Dragon. I beat it only because I'd been grinding a "secret" dungeon.
