I used to work at a theme park, and saw much more racey outfits than that. It wasn't an issue. It's Oklahoma in May, it's probably hot. Let people wear what they want to.

I think you all are confusing as to what I'm driving at.
I'm saying she can do what she wants and the park can handle this as she wants.

My concern is how it got this far and how it'll affect the child. I'm not saying ban anything.

I guess if I had one question for most people, would you want her as your mom or...as your friend's mom?

From what I know, doesn't Six Flag have a water park section? At least all the ones I've been to have.
I don't see how the shorts would be out of line but the hundreds of women in swimsuits and bikini's is acceptable?

Whole situation is messed up but I see nothing wrong with her outfit.

Maybe you can elaborate on how it'll affect the children? If the end-effect is that her daughter chooses to dress like that when it's age-appropriate, I don't really see the issue. There are certainly worse influences, like parents who drink.

I literally just told you most people the tropics dress like this. As such the above question is very silly when all my female relatives/friends etc have been dressed like that to varying degrees. The younger girls (some) push the limit by wearing deliberately too small bikini tops with their boobs near spilling out. They're fishing for attention which is normal for young people. The young guys walk around in short pants with their shirts off showing off their 6 packs. Heck older toned (and not so toned) men do too. Really this girl here looks very standard to me. Not even on the level of the attention seekers I mentioned. You claim to be in some college town but sound extremely conservative.

I don't think you do, actually. Nothing about this situation justifies it or makes it okay, because nothing needs to make it okay. Looking for reasons why it would be okay is missing the point, which is that people's appearances are morally neutral. There's nothing immoral about exposing skin. People can do immoral things with or in response to (mostly the latter) exposed skin, but simply exposing it says nothing about somebody's character.
