The next episode preview seems to indicate that Braunschweig will take that title back quickly, though. I didn't think Merkatz would be loyal enough to him to more or less disobey orders to save him, but I guess he bought him at least one more episode. Sieg's Reinhard is Oberstein's Reinhard, now, and I don't this this is something Sieg could forgive him for. I wonder if he follows Merkatz' example(hey Merkatz, I think two million people wish you made that decision a bit sooner.) but defecting likely isn't something he'll be able to do, either. I tend to like my characters morally gray. I still think Reinhard and even Oberstein fit that description, but that shade of gray certainly got darker. I look forward to seeing how they develop from here. Also impressive how little time it took for him to get his photo op. He and Baghdash would probably get along well, I wouldn't be shocked if Baghdash ended up on his payroll. I'm a little sad Greenhill and Lynch died before they ever talked to anyone outside the coup (poor Frederica), but it was probably an appropriate end. This really is an amazing show. The main reason I decided to do the 1 vote for every episode watched was to encourage myself to watch it faster. I think at this point, I might need to create a reason to watch it more slowly? It's getting very hard to put down. Any delay between any of my saves after the 5th was caused by being too engrossed in watching.
