I sometimes wonder if I'm a sociopath. But I feel guilty and bad for people if I hurt their feelings so probably not since I don't think sociopaths have a conscience.

There was a middle school classmate of mines that had opened a pizza restaurant after college. It closed shortly after 2 years and rumors was that the closure and a break up with his girlfriend led into an incident involving him, his girlfriend, a gun, and the police involved.

I used to work in mental health services on Rikers Island and got to meet some legit criminally insane people and some evil bastards who used mental illness as an excuse to get sedative type medications.

yes, my dad was one. like most sociopaths he masked it with alcohol and became dangerous when he was sober.

pretty sure my cousin is one

haven't seen the dude since he was five (which is over ten years ago at this point), but man was that kid a fucking brat

would throw tantrums constantly and hit others (including my grandparents, who i'd stay with at the time) when things weren't going his way (which was often)

would scream for either my grandma or grandpa to come wipe him after he shat, too, and he even once just straight shat on the floor when he wasn't being acknowledged

completely fucking ill-natured, and it took all of my willpower not to fucking sock the kid at the time

grandparents completely put up with all of it, though, cause he was the last grandchild they were ever gonna have

still get pissed whenever i think about the whole situation to this day

had a "friend" in college who also later became a coworker who had really shitty tendencies too (don't know if i'd call him a full-blown psychopath, but he was pretty close)

classic asian fetishist (even majored in japanese); literally saw women as nothing but objects to have sex with

and a common habit of his while we were coworkers was to call out of his shifts the day of/few hours before, and he'd legit get pissed at you if you weren't able to cover for him at the last minute

eventually culminated into this huge "argument" he forced me into having - while at a casual get-together, no less; shit always had to center around him and be about him - where he actually confided in me that he had ibs too (my having ibs is why i couldn't usually take up his shifts)

saw through it entirely, though, since he was always among the first and most vocal about making fun of me for my illness within our circle

classic manipulator/narcissist, and a general pos all around

My ex gfs older sister is one im pretty sure. She was always so selfish and mean towards my ex gf. Even threw an iron at her when they were younger.

not to rain on your parade but IBS is generally a mix of intolerances to a bunch of food item that you haven't cut out of your diet yet, I realized that 4 yrs ago when I cut out all processed food and animal products, my IBS had evolved into severe IBD though

My freshman college roommate was a sociopath we were all pretty sure.

On a daily basis he'd make very cruel comments to people, sometimes people he knew and sometimes people he just met. It was almost as if he was trying to shock people into reactions, but he never showed any emotion while he did it as if it were a joke or anything. Like how a child would ask an offensive question not knowing it was offensive, except he was 18-19 and definitely knew better.

Some girl in his past must have fucked him up because he had a vendetta against women. He was tall and handsome so was able to reel in a lot of girls, not to have sex or anything but to torture them emotionally until they figured out what he was doing and got away from him. They'd be intrigued by his quiet intelligent manner, but it would always end with him asking fucked up questions or making awful comments to them in order to intentionally drive them away. Then later on he'd laugh about it.

If you asked our friend group who was most likely to be a serial killer 10/10 times they would answer him.

My 8th Grade Physics teacher murdered his wife a few years after I went to high school. It was very surprising because he was a pretty nice guy.

Yup. An ex was friends with him in highschool and he was released from prison shortly before I started dating her again (story for another time). Dude was crazy and she tried to be friends with him after. She realized he was crazy though and started avoiding him after I helped her realize this.

Few years ago he got arrested for stabbing an innocent mentally handicapped guy to death. The victim had a history of letting homeless people sleep on his couch, and just overall having a heart of gold. It was all because victim wouldnt lend him $100; which he couldn't because he was in disability and just picked up his meds. He would have if he had it though.
