Hey to be real though, start by setting yourself a small, achievable goal.

"I'm going to go on a 10 minute walk every day this week. Then next week I'll go on an 11 minute walk"

Being active just a little bit each day can help an obese person kickstart weight loss, and really improves health outcomes. Big problem is a lot of people bite off way more than they can chew and end up hurting themselves or burning out due to stress. Do a little thing, consistently. And add a little more to it every week.

That's going to build a habit you can add to and after a while, wow, you have an exercise routine! And that will really help.

As for food, man...if I ever get my own healthy relationship with food I'll let you know how I figured it out. For now I just exercise to atone for the horrible trash I routinely throw into my body.

I assume you dont have the time or will to work out so ill try a few tips you can apply if you cant sweat:

Drink water instead coke or other drinks: This will greatly reduce your calorie intake. Takes a lot to get used but it really does help in the long run

Eat little during the night: Its ok if you have a vast breakfast and lunch but your metabolism is much slower during the night so eating less in the night does help too.

Take a laxative pill on saturday night so you can clean your body on sunday morning.

Wake up early and run at least 10 miles a day. I eat at least 3,000 calories a day and stay thin. Average 7 minutes per mile. I eat a good amount of veggies but also a ton of garbage like hamburgers, fries, pizza, potato chips, Oreos.

Well there's your problem.

You think solid caloric sustenance and liquid caloric sustenance are different.

If I add a bunch of water and blend the shit out of a hamburger and fries into a drink, it's still "food".

Sure. For me I got a treadmill and gatekeep fun things behind it, like reading or watching trashy anime. So whenever I want to do those things, I walk/jog at the same time. Now it's natural and I never have to force myself. I don't know what your equivalent would be. Walk to the store any time you want to drink?

2) minimize junk food to be the occasional treat, not the usual.

3) increase the amount of produce you eat

4) exercise a bit

You gotta start walk/jogging and start eating 75% of the calories you currently are.

Don't start by giving up stuff (that can come later) instead just lower your portions.

I love Pizza, for example. I'll eat 4 pieces no problem. Diet mode is 1-2 pieces and that's it.

Also: soda. Gotta stop drinking it to lose weight.

Alcohol is nothing but calories. After you're drunk, the ethanol -> acetaldehyde -> acetic acid -> acetyl-CoA chain happens, then acetyl-CoA goes on to regular old metabolism.
