Most of the other guest host they have all have other careers, whether they be athletes, actors, news anchors etc. They might be good at hosting, they might really be enthusiastic about the show, but they are all less likely to go for the long-term gameshow job. They just all have other careers and opportunities that could potentially conflict with Jeopardy. Mike Richards though? He has already proven to be a gameshow lifer.
