It turned out her internal polling showing her 30% ahead was total bogus.

I think she was done in by her own notoriety. Say all you want about the PAC money (a very important criticism that erodes democracy severely), but she found every way to get negative press and her election became a national spotlight that probably made her constituents question how they want to be seen. Add to that the fact that calling out Israel still isn't accepted enough in the US.

In reality most of America just doesnt like progressives (shocker, I know). Theres a reason why moderate Dems almost always end up beating the progressives when it comes to elections outside of the deep blue areas.

I said in my first post that I don't think money was the deciding thing of this election, I just think it's dumb for people to go "well this group pouring huge money into the election backs X ethnicity interests so now it's okay"

I'm a native. It's not a particularly progressive district even though it's deep blue. Moderates do very well here. Lots of democrats like our republican governor even though many vocal republicans hate him. It's pretty left-center.
