I haven't seen a mask since very early this year with two exceptions:
(1) hospital visit
(2) a store in town that was oddly still requiring them (I shopped elsewhere since I don't own a mask anymore)

Not saying it is wrong - just that masks are a thing of the past here.

This county kind of sucks handling COVID so Im wearing a mask here too. Also seems to protect against colds and its the seasons for those.

Why would you get rid of your masks? They're still perfectly functional, should the need arise to use them again (and it almost certainly will within our lifetimes, even if your region is lucky enough to never go back to needing them for Covid), and it's not like they take much space to store. Not carrying it, I can see, and that would result in the decision not to go into that store, but getting rid of it entirely just seems like a silly waste.

Breakthrough infections have been spiking like crazy so better safe than sorry plus maybe 1/4 of the customers I see at work wear one and at the store even less so

I had one nice one. It's been so long since I wore it I lost it.

At the hospital they had a box of disposable ones, so I just used one of those.

I haven't been anywhere that requires it since like may. I can't think of any reason I would wear one aside from work where I'm required (and that is getting really fucking old)

i'll remain maskless in a gym. My heart/lungs/vital organs need proper oxygen flow in order for me to complete my exercises. anywhere else i will mask up.

I don't go out in public. Every single thing I like I can do at home and better than doing it in person. Working from home, ordering goods and groceries ect is better online than wandering around some crowded store and stranding in line.

I just don't have to get out for any reason and life is great. Yet people still seem to be screeching at me about vaccines and helping bring normal back or whatever, which apparently I'm supposed to want?

Maybe for your average Joe doing an easy and light workout, but for high performance athletes and people actually doing serious training, it absolutely has an impact.

There's a public health order in place, so I wear one at work and in indoor public spaces.

I'll stop once the order is lifted. I don't care about the health of people who refuse to get vaccinated. The order was only put back in place because our ICUs were overflowing with unvaccinated people.

No, it does not. Since you insist on making this personal, though, I've put one on during an asthma attack that I suffered because I started a 5km bike ride (the first ride of that length I'd done in months) by riding up a 25m hill at 6% grade when I'd been off my meds for about two years, and I was fine. The impact masks have on breathing is entirely psychological and has nothing to do with the material's permeability to O2/CO2.

I only wear them where I must and at this point hospitals is the only place that's required and hairdressers. The hairdressers one is pointless as they always take off my mask to clip around my ears. Still it is what it is. I don't get my hair cut much anyway and probably could do it myself at home if I wasn't lazy (I have a buzz cut).

I still wear one indoors at work or the grocery store or whatever but not outside.

Honestly I might never stop wearing one. I haven't even had so much as a cold since the pandemic started and the mask figures into that I'm sure

Bunch of cowards in here. As long as you go outside, you are at risk of something happening to you. To be constantly afraid of that, is to be afraid of life and to be a coward.

I never wear a mask. When stores have signs outside saying you have to wear a mask, I don't, and like 90% of the time I haven't had a problem. I might be like the only person one of two people in the entire store not wearing a mask, but I'm also one of the only two people in the store that's actually doing what they want to do, and not what they're told to do.

people make decisions based on a lot of different things

if you think anyone that chooses to wear masks in some situations is doing so out of fear, then youre doing yourself a disservice with that kind of self-delusion. It screams insecurity.
