I had got Progressive for 127/month until they hiked it to 227/month so I shopped around and the best I could find was 174, which is still better than 227 but how did it go up so much since may? I have gotten no accidents or tickets in that span, Fuck insurance companies and their price gouging

Where the heck do you live with rates like that? Mine is $430 for 6 months or $72/month.

Illinois and I do have an accident on my record but that was 2 years ago so was factored into the 127 too.

Insurance is risk pooling so blame the drivers in your area for causing it to cost more to insure vehicles there

Like do you understand how insurance works or what risk pooling is? If not I can explain it to you

You gotta stick with a company.
State Farm gives me the best rates by far, but I've been with them for over 5 years, bundle my renters with them, etc.
My rates go down it seems about $10/month every other renewal.
