manager taped my bike up for some reason, on company time.

Saw this pic posted on social media. The guys coworker was nice enough to give him a ride home, so he left his bike at work for one night and the manager decided that this was a good use of their time.

In some times and places, theyd have plastic wrapped the manager to the wall and put a sign on him that said, Im a dickhead who doesnt respect other peoples property.

If the bike is just being left there indefinitely, it's rightful to get pissy about it, but this is such a stupid overreaction to that if it's actually real.

For sure. But like, even if it had been there a long time. Leaving a note is fine, wrapping it up all crazy like that is just vindictive to an absurd degree and frankly I dont even know what the manager was trying to accomplish by doing it.

They get to pick and choose. If you're late for work, then it's a company, and you can be replaced. If they want you to take an extra shift, then it's a family.

yaeh a lot of middle managers are unhinged low-iq mouthbreathers who are where they are because they're too miserable/stupid to make it to the top, but just stuck with the firm long enough to get to that middle spot.

btw that plastic isn't cheap. printer ink isn't cheap. Like he probably wasted about 10 bucks in materials to wrap dudes bike up.

they probably keep the box cutters locked in the office because people will steal them otherwise.

I hope the manager later had to pick up his plastic wrap. If he told the employee to pick it up, that would be pretty funny if he refused and it went up higher.
