Pretty sure you would never have heard of the most persecuted people since they already don't exist, if they were the most persecuted. Yes the Jewish people have been through a crap ton of persecution and other issues such as racism, but that doesn't excuse them from doing terrible things to the Palestinians currently.

The territory was lost in WW2 when they were part of the Nazi-sided Ottomans, and that new territory was granted to the Jews to make up for all the harm that was caused by the Axis. Just as Israel was taken from the Jews millenia ago, Palestine was taken from the Palestinians back then. If Palestine has a legitimate claim to the region, then so did the United Kingdom, and so had every right to give it back to the Jews.

Britain took Israel from the Ottomans in WW1, not WW2. The Balfour declaration was also made in 1917. The Nazi's didn't even exist back then.

She's a textbook TERF (trans-exclusionary radical feminist). Pretty much her entire position boils down to "trans women are just men that are trying to mooch off of the work we feminists have done to make the world better for women," repeatedly denying the legitimacy of trans people as she does so. What she is fighting for is for trans women to be denied the rights afforded to cis women, which is objectively extremely harmful.

We had issues in the 90s with racists and I guess most got resolved so we found new issues in the early 2000s and they mostly got resolved and so on so now we have the luxury to get mad about everything people say or said once online and I guess once that's all resolved we will move on again to some new criteria. Kind of how all this works I suppose.

I think it shouldn't be hard to see why nobody should care though because the criteria for what makes a racist keeps getting easier and easier to meet.

What's funny is that they actually DID have significant networks of communication prior to the internet; they just weren't as easy for non-racists to stumble across, so a lot of people don't realize that the only thing that's changed is transparency.

I don't like all of his videos, but step back history has some good basic intros to the organization of the WP movement, and you can easily see how it ties into the structure it's taken today. I guess if you live in an area where there aren't people who are openly part of this movement, it may not feel like something that has been more or less a constant, but I don't have that luxury. People have been murdered in my town, one of which was the partner of one of my co-workers. I don't appreciate people downplaying the existence of these cretins.
