33 y/o Jerome LeBlanc from Montreal, Canada who makes a living "pretending" t to be superstar Tom Cruise has been BANNED on instagram for PRETENDING to be Tom Cruise which has now destroyed his business!!

He resides in San Diego, California as his profile was removed for breaking a community guideline of impersonating others

He was blessed with good looks and appears uncannily like the real Cruise who was able to find work impersonating the top gun star and built up his social media platform over 6 years

His instagram had more than 30K followers and his sudden removal led to a sharp drop in business

He tells dailymail "It was a pretty big blow for someone self employed like me to lose an account brought me so much business. I tried appealing the disabling of my account, explaining i'm impersonating a fictional character but no luck."

He was first banned in June 2021 but his appeal had him reinstated before banned weeks later again

Instagram rules state "Creating an account to impersonate is against community guidelines and could result in removal of your account. Don't pretend to be the real individual or brand"...

He supplied them with documents that would hopefully see the company reconsider including a business license showing he owned a lookalike business but the decision was a firm "no"

He finally got a response after mass sending messages and they said he needed a lawyer or someone on his behalf to prove his legitimacy..and he retained a lawyer but after thousands spent trying to regain his account, they got no response.

Jerome says it affected him greatly and it's all happening during the pandemic.

He began impersonating the star at 23 where he would pose with tourists thinking he wa the real tom. He would generate income making personal videos for those who requested it a 80 a pop.

Despite speaking french as his first language, he trained himself to perfect the quintessential tom cruise laugh

He made impersonation role is full time job and he's also MARRIED with TWO KIDS

He's now switched to TikTok and Cameo where his loyal fanbase quickly supported him and now has over half a million followers but he's still disappointed by how instagram treated him.

His whole career was mainly meet and greets and has survived on that platform and never receiving unemployment

The real Cruise has one tooth that is dead center in his mouth, this guy's dental situation is more symmetrical.

I assumed some of those pictures were the real Cruise until you didn't post a separate header for real vs impersonator. They even made them look like photos taken in the 80's, though.

Before I even clicked, I said to myself "I bet he's wearing sunglasses in every pic to hide the fact that they probably don't look that similar."
